(For the visa I have to go to a doctor appointed by the American Embassy. There are about six of them in Germany and Frankfurt is the most convenient one for me.)
I went to my doctor in the beginning of March to make sure that I have all the needed vaccinations. Today I checked my vaccination record again, just to be on the sure side, and now I think I'm missing two (measles and mumps)! So, I'll be at my doctors again tomorrow to verify if I still need some or not...
The medical in Frankfurt will be only for a few hours. So I have an afternoon to spend in the city. Last year, I went to a few museums and since there are new exhibitions I might just do that again.
Shopping is always an option for Frankfurt, but I don't want to buy any new clothes because I already have more than I can put in two suitcases when I move in May!
Well, I'll be sure to bring my camera on my little trip on Thursday to show you a bit of Frankfurt.
Am Donnerstag fahre ich nach Frankfurt,
da ich dort bei einem von der Botschaft bestimmten Arzt untersucht werden muss. Das will ich rechtzeitig vor meinem Visa-Interview erledigen, damit die Ergebnisse auch rechtzeitig in der Botschaft sind.
Anfang März war ich schon bei meiner Ärztin und habe meinen Impfpass überprüfen lassen, dass ich auch alle notwendigen Impfungen habe. Heute habe ich noch mal zur Sicherheit reingeschaut und jetzt finde ich zwei Impfungen nicht mehr (Masern & Mumps). Tja, ich werde wohl morgen wieder bei meiner Ärztin vorbei schauen und zur Not mich gleich impfen lassen.
Die Untersuchung in Frankfurt wird ja zum Glück nicht den ganzen Tag dauern, also werde ich mir nachmittags vielleicht ein oder zwei Museen anschauen, bevor ich wieder zurück nach Tübingen fahre.
Zwar kann man in Frankfurt auch besonders gut shoppen gehen, da ich aber jetzt schon nicht weiß, wie ich im Mai alles in zwei Koffer packen soll, verzichte ich zur Zeit auf das Einkaufen.
Ich werde auf jeden Fall meine Kamera mit nach Frankfurt nehmen und dann kann ich euch danach von meinem Tagesausflug erzählen.
